Overview
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is a Japanese animated television series based on the manga of the same name by Osamu Nishi. The show follows the story of Iruma Suzuki, a fourteen-year-old boy who is unexpectedly sold to a demon by his irresponsible parents. To his surprise, he is then adopted by the demon as his grandson and enrolled in a school located in the Netherworld, where his new grandfather serves as the principal. As Iruma navigates his new life among demons, he confronts challenges that lead him to discover his true self and strive to become someone remarkable. The series was first announced in February 2019 as part of the Weekly Shonen Champion 50th Anniversary Project and premiered later that same year. It has since been made available for streaming through various platforms including Netflix and Prime Video.
