Weak Hero Class 1 is a South Korean television series that premiered on November 18, 2022, on the Wavve network. The drama consists of eight episodes and is written and directed by Yoo Soo-min, with contributions from Kim Jin-seok and Park Dan-hee. The series is based on the 2018 Naver webtoon titled Weak Hero, created by Seopass and Kim Jin-seok, also known as Razen. The production features a cast that includes Park Ji-hoon, Hong Kyung, Choi Hyun-wook, and Ryeoun. The story follows Yeon Shi-eun, a model student who ranks at the top of his class. Although he appears physically weak, he is a gifted and introverted individual who uses his intelligence, various tools, and psychological tactics to confront bullies and violent foes both inside and outside of his school. With the assistance of unexpected friends, he begins to navigate these conflicts, remaining unaware of the increasing danger surrounding his world. The series is categorized under the action, adventure, and drama genres. The first three episodes of the series premiered at the 27th Busan International Film Festival.
