Overview

We Never Learn: BOKUBEN is a television series centered on a student named Nariyuki Yuiga during his final year of high school. The plot follows Nariyuki as he attempts to secure a special VIP recommendation, which would provide him with a full scholarship for college. To earn this opportunity, he is tasked with tutoring his classmates as they prepare for their entrance exams. The narrative focuses on his interactions with two students, Fumino Furuhashi and Rizu Ogata, who are recognized as beautiful super-geniuses at their school. Fumino is known as the sleeping beauty of the literary forest, while Rizu is referred to as the Thumbelina supercomputer. Although these two students are perceived as academically flawless, the series reveals that they possess significant gaps in their knowledge outside of their specific areas of expertise. Nariyuki must navigate these academic challenges while helping his pupils overcome their individual struggles as they work toward their future goals.
