GEORGE understands the young man is troubled by an unrequited love and invites him to vent his anger on him. FRANCIS simply ignores him. Getting wind that the KIMs are offering disserts on the house, He hurries to his next-door neighbor. No one compliments KELLY’s red bean soup except MARCO; similarly, TODAY receives no applause for her puddings except from FRANCIS. TODAY is furious after learning why FRANCIS washes down her disserts. She sets out criteria for an ideal lover and indicates she won’t choose FRANCIS as her boyfriend. FRANCIS is upset.
