KAM tries to justify the secret held between his mother and SHEUNG, and convinces himself that SHEUNG gives him the book as a gesture to show concerns for his staff’s future. KAM has got a split headache. Remembering that SHEUNG has kneeled to pick up a book in front of him, he fears that it is the jinx for having the father to kneel down before the son.
