Tsuritama is a Japanese television series that follows the story of Yuki Sanada, a socially awkward teenager who frequently relocates with his grandmother. The series begins when Yuki and his grandmother move to the coastal town of Enoshima, where he hopes to find a new beginning. His plans for a quiet fresh start are disrupted by the arrival of Haru, another transfer student who immediately draws attention by boldly claiming to be an alien. Haru declares Yuki his friend despite their initial meeting and insists that Yuki join him along with their classmate Natsuki Usami, who has fishing expertise, in activities that bring the three of them together.
