Tokyo Underground is a Japanese television series produced by Studio Pierrot. The series is based on a manga series by Akinobu Uraka, published by Enix. It premiered on the TV Tokyo Network and was later released on DVD by Geneon Entertainment in the US and Canada. The series was also released as a boxset in the UK by Manga Entertainment and in Australia by Tokyo Night Train. In addition to its initial broadcast, Tokyo Underground also aired on the digital channel G4techTV Canada, starting on a specific date. The series ran for a period of time from April until September in 2002.
