Third Watch is an American crime drama television series that aired on NBC from September 23, 1999, to May 6, 2005. The series follows the exploits of a group of men and women who serve the City of New York as police officers, firefighters, and paramedics. These individuals work together during the same shift, which runs from 3pm to 11pm, at a fictional location known as the 55th precinct. This shift is referred to as the third watch.
