Thieves out! is a 1961 Greek comedy lasting 1 hour 26 minutes. The story follows Timoleon Adamantas, a honest teacher who inherits 70 % of a steelworks from his estranged brother, discovers administrative irregularities, and takes decisive action against the assistant and secretary.
While not widely cited as a landmark, the film offers a glimpse into post‑war Greek industrial concerns and family dynamics, using satire to comment on corporate ethics. Its tone stays playful yet purposeful, and the pacing remains measured enough to let jokes land without rushing the narrative.
