The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic television series developed from the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The series follows a group of survivors in a world largely taken over by reanimated corpses known as walkers, with the television series broadcast as a drama.

In the fourteenth episode of the third season, titled Prey, the Governor chases a dissenter who fled Woodbury. While the Governor is gone, a traitor attempts to sabotage his upcoming plans.

The television series features a large ensemble cast across its run, including Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, alongside central character Rick Grimes, a sheriff's deputy who awakens from a coma to lead the group of survivors fleeing from flesh-eating zombies.
