The Twins, released in South Korea as Yeokjeonui myeongsu, is a 2005 film belonging to the comedy and crime genres. It is the debut feature of director Park Heung-sik. The film stars Jung Joon-ho in the dual role of identical twin brothers with opposing personalities, named Myung-us and Hyun-su. Myung-us was born two minutes and seventeen seconds earlier than Hyun-su. Described as a middle school drop-out and a bum who rules the depot area, Myung-us is forced by his mother to perform tasks for his smart and successful twin brother, Hyun-su. These impositions include fulfilling military duty on Hyun-su's behalf and later going to jail for him. Growing fed up with living Hyun-su's life on only bad accounts, Myung-us experiences an identity crisis. Upon stepping out of the prison gate, he is approached by a beautiful girl named Soon-hui, who lures him into agreeing to rob a bank with her. The South Korean feature has a runtime of two hours and two minutes and was released in May 2005.
