The television series The Sopranos, which is an American crime and drama television series, follows the story of New Jersey-based Italian-American mobster Tony Soprano and the difficulties he faces. The series was broadcast originally from 1999 to 2007.

In the episode titled Another Toothpick, Bobby Bacala Baccalieri Senior comes out of retirement to deal with a young hothead named Mustang Sally. This action happens much to the chagrin of his son and Uncle Junior.

The broader scope of the series chronicles the life and struggles of Tony Soprano, an Italian-American mobster based in New Jersey. The production is widely recognized as a major television drama, with the series running across multiple years during its original broadcast window from 1999 to 2007.
