The Quiz with Balls: Season 1

Season overview

The American game show The Quiz with Balls premiered on May 28, 2024, on Fox. Hosted by comedian Jay Pharoah, the series is produced by Talpa Studios and Eureka Productions, which is a division of Fremantle. Each episode of the reality competition combines a high-stakes quiz show with a large-scale physical competition, pitting brains against balls as two families compete in a battle of the balls for $100,000. Standing on a high platform over a glistening pool, family members must work together to face a multiple-choice quiz where answers are allocated to spots with giant balls positioned up behind them. Correct answers result in balls stopping before colliding with players, while wrong answers cause massive balls to rapidly descend and knock contestants into the pool below. As teams lose players, questions become harder, and the longer they last, the more money they bank. Ultimately, one dry family member advances to play the final round for the grand prize of $100,000.
