Drafting Overview:
Following the death of a beloved friend, the young graduates find themselves thrust into adulthood as high school becomes a distant memory. The Cohens face the challenge of keeping Ryan focused on his future while battling various forces that threaten to pull him back into his former life. The group's dynamics have shifted significantly as they navigate these new stages of life. Summer has departed from Orange County to attend Brown University in Rhode Island, where she has undergone a reinvention as a left-leaning, tree-hugging activist. In the O.C., Seth experiences loneliness while working at a local comic book store. The social landscape of the area changes with the return of Kaitlin Cooper, who arrives as the primary troublemaker at The Harbor School. Additionally, Taylor Townsend has resurfaced in the O.C., where she is currently speaking French following a mysterious romance that took place in Paris. These developments mark a period of transition and change for the characters as they move beyond their teenage years and deal with the consequences of their past and the realities of their current circumstances.
