THE MEASURED EVERLASTING IS 1.334 BILLION YEARS 2026

Overview

The Measured Everlasting Is 1.334 Billion Years is a documentary film released on October 22, 2026, with a runtime of one hour and thirty-eight minutes. The film explores the concept of a kalpa, which is defined in Thai Buddhist cosmology as an immeasurable span of time. In this work, that duration is imagined as 1.334 billion years, a period sufficient for the dissolution of bodies, memories, and worlds. The narrative structure begins in hell and expands toward the edge of the universe. Throughout the film, the subject matter transitions through various sources, including Buddhist scripture, Thai gay pornographic print culture, forensic footage, personal memory, AI simulations, and political fable. At the core of the project is the filmmaker’s fear of death, which is presented not merely as an ending, but as the potential collapse of identity, desire, and memory before all things return to a state of chaos. The film is cataloged as a documentary production.
