During the Rhodes campaign, an assassination attempt on Sultan Süleyman is thwarted by İbrahim, who is gravely injured, while Hürrem gives birth to a daughter, disappointing her but delighting Mahidevran. Süleyman captures and harshly punishes the assassin Murat, alarming the Grand Master as the Ottomans tighten their grip on Rhodes.
