Overview

The Lone Ranger is a 2013 motion picture that follows the efforts of a masked lawman and his companion to restore order in the American West. The narrative begins when a group of Texas Rangers pursues a gang of outlaws commanded by Butch Cavendish. During the operation, the gang ambushes the lawmen, resulting in the apparent death of the entire unit. One survivor is subsequently discovered by an American Indian named Tonto, who provides the medical care necessary for his recovery. Following his recuperation, the survivor adopts a mask and begins riding a white stallion named Silver. He forms a partnership with Tonto to track down the members of the Cavendish gang and other criminals operating in the region. Together, the duo works to bring these outlaws to justice. The film depicts the transformation of the lone survivor into a legendary figure who defends the law through his collaboration with Tonto.
