LING’s wife is pregnant and he takes it as a good sign for his usurping the throne plan. His wife does not see it that way. He implicitly tells the officials his plan on the day of finishing construction on the armoury and forces them to submit under him. BUN can only obey him.

FUNG discovers that the emperor is the man behind the doping trick and punishes him with kneeling and kowtow, but the emperor follows her instruction surprisingly. FU looks down on him from then on. WAH notices that YU is pretending to be HEUNG and tries to tell FU with a secret slip. HEUNG manages to untie the ropes and flees away from the hut but finally gets caught again. FU finds it hard to believe what WAH has said in the slip and sounds YU out. YU passes his tests and FU is relieved.
