Overview

The Legend of Tarzan is an American animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. Based on Tarzan from the novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the character's original creator, the series follows the further adventures of the jungle hero Tarzan and his friends. The series takes place after the events of the 1999 feature film, where Tarzan is adjusting to his new role as leader of the apes following Kerchak's death. The cast includes Jane, who is adjusting to life in the jungle, as well as her father, Professor Archimedes Porter; Tantor, a germophobic elephant; and Terk, a wisecracking female gorilla and Tarzan's old friend. The series features a mix of action, adventure, and comedy elements, making it suitable for a young audience. The series was created by Tab Murphy, Bob Tzudiker, and Noni White, and it was produced in collaboration with various voice actors and crew members.
