Chang San-lang and Li Mi wants to win Yan Gan by their wisdom. Yang Su is very proud on the birthday party. During the feast, the news that Yan Gan has lost, causes Yang Kuang to be very angry. He then gives Yan Gan's authority to Sh Min and says he will punish Yan Gan.

Su's wife goes to Queen Siu and Yang Kuang to beg for mercy. Yang Kuang is not moved. Yang Su tied up his son and takes him to the Palace to ask for mercy. Yang Kuang finally sentences Yan Gan to half year's imprisonment.
