Synopsis
Jason Bradbury investigates the future of communications with the aid of BT's research and development team, and meets futurologist Ian Pearson, who speculates on the likelihood of such innovations as TV screens implanted in contact lenses. Jon Bentley puts the most advanced torches on the market to the test and Suzi Perry discovers the history of the metal detector.
