The program aired on NBC from November 22, 1980, to September 11, 1982. Outside of North America, the series was released under the title Flintstone Frolics. The show features six distinct segments: The Flintstone Family Adventures, Bedrock Cops, Pebbles, Dino and Bamm-Bamm, Captain Caveman, Dino and Cavemouse, and The Frankenstones. Within the narrative of the series, Fred and Barney hold positions as police officers.
