The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy is a television series. The story revolves around a character who awakens from magical stasis after a thousand years, only to find himself in a new and unfamiliar world. He quickly meets a girl named Riselia, who is confronting creatures known as the Voids that have nearly exterminated humanity. Determined to uncover the mysteries of this strange new era, the character enrolls in Excalibur Academy, a school that trains students to fight back against the Voids. The series is based on a series of fantasy light novels, which were written by Yū Shimizu and illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka. The novels have been published under the MF Bunko J imprint, and the television series is an adaptation of the light novel series.
