Overview
The Commitment is a 2004 horror film originating from Thailand. The plot follows a group of friends from Bangkok who decide to visit an abandoned house. This location is said to be inhabited by a spirit that possesses the power to grant wishes, provided that the person making the request offers an appropriate sacrifice in return. As their graduation approaches, the friends pray for academic success and decent grades. One member of the group, a skeptical girl named Moss, makes a mocking pledge to the spirit, promising to do anything in exchange for the satisfaction of her friends' desires. While several members of the group are careful to provide the necessary offerings as their wishes are fulfilled, three individuals named Muay, Pin, and Moss are not as diligent in their obligations. Consequently, the three friends find themselves subjected to a series of events. The film has a runtime of one hour and thirty-two minutes and was released in Thailand on July 13, 2004.
