Overview

The Colour of Magic is a television series that follows the experiences of a character named Rincewind. Rincewind finds himself acting as an involuntary guide for a naive tourist known as Twoflower. As the pair navigates their surroundings, they are forced to flee the city of Ankh-Morpork to escape a terrible fire. This event initiates a journey for the two characters that takes them across the Disc. While Rincewind and Twoflower travel, their individual fates and the progression of their journey are being determined by a group of Gods. These deities are occupied with playing a board game, which unbeknownst to the two travelers, dictates the events of their lives. The narrative focuses on the interaction between the protagonists and the external forces influencing their path as they traverse the landscape. The series highlights the contrast between the naive tourist and his reluctant guide as they attempt to survive the consequences of the fire and the unpredictable machinations of the Gods who oversee their world.
