Overview

The Bay of Spies, also known by its Polish title Zatoka szpiegów, is a historical drama television series that premiered on TVP on January 7, 2024. The narrative centers on Franz Neumann, a young officer serving in the Nazi Abwehr. After discovering that his biological father was Polish, Neumann utilizes this information to become a spy for the Allied forces under the code name Got. His primary objective is to infiltrate the German elite and gather intelligence regarding the activities of the Kriegsmarine, particularly during the Battle of the Atlantic. Throughout his mission, Neumann relies on his charm and charisma to manipulate those around him and cultivate romantic relationships to secure sensitive information.
