Overview
The Asterisk War is a television series set in a post-apocalyptic world following a catastrophic meteor storm. This disaster, which occurred during the twentieth century, destroyed numerous cities across the globe. Within the meteors, an unknown element called mana was discovered, leading to rapid technological advancement and the emergence of super-powered humans known as the Star Pulse Generation, or Genestella. The story centers around the Festas, which are battles between Genestella taking place in Rikka, a city containing six academies commonly referred to as Asterisk. The series follows Ayato Amagiri, a scholarship student who transfers into Seidoukan Academy. The show explores the conflicts and competitions between these academies as they participate in the Star Warrior Festivals, with the backdrop of a world transformed by the discovery of mana and the rise of the Genestella.
