The Advisors Alliance is a 2017 Chinese television series that dramatizes the political and military career of Sima Yi, a prominent official and general of the late Eastern Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period. The narrative follows Sima Yi as he navigates the turbulent court of the Kingdom of Wei, supported by the politically astute members of his household, while confronting the ambitions of Cao Cao and his successors. The series also depicts Wei’s defense against the strategic talents of the famed strategist Kongming. The production is presented in two parts, comprising a total of forty‑two episodes. Wu Xiubo portrays Sima Yi throughout the series, Yu Hewei appears as Cao Cao, and Liu Tao plays Zhang Chunhua, Sima Yi’s wife, each appearing in all episodes.
