Overview

TenPuru, also known as TenPuru: No One Can Live on Loneliness, is a 2023 television series based on the Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka. The story follows Akagami Akemitsu, a young man who spends his time studying and working part-time to separate himself from his family, which is known for being a household of philanderers. After falling in love at first sight with a girl named Aoba Yuzuki, Akemitsu finds himself struggling with worldly desires. In an attempt to fight his genetic tendencies and adopt a more stoic lifestyle, he decides to become a Buddhist monk. He enters a temple to dedicate himself to this new path, only to discover that the location is actually a convent populated by three triplets and two other women. This romantic comedy series chronicles his life at the temple as he navigates his interactions with the residents.
