Tarzan and the She-Devil is a 1953 American film directed by Kurt Neumann. The film was released in the United States on June 18, 1953, with a runtime of one hour and fifteen minutes, and it falls into the action and adventure genre. It is the seventeenth film of the Tarzan film series that began with 1932's Tarzan the Ape Man and is based on the work of Edgar Rice Burroughs. The story features the king of the jungle as he fights off ivory poachers. The cast features Lex Barker starring as Tarzan and Joyce MacKenzie starring as Jane. The cast also includes Raymond Burr as Vargo, Tom Conway as Fidel, Michael Granger as Philippe Lavarre, Henry Brandon as M'Tara and Lycopo Chief, and Monique van Vooren starring as Lyra, the She-Devil.
