In this episode of Supernatural, the Winchesters investigate a series of murders that appear to be committed by ordinary people. The victims are found with no signs of struggle or evidence of a struggle, and the killers seem to be motivated by a desire to kill.

The investigation leads the brothers to a possible cause: an angel that is causing people to cheerfully go out to murder. When one of the Winchesters falls under the angel's sway, they are forced to confront the reality of the situation.
