In the television series Supernatural, brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, portrayed respectively by actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, find themselves drawn into a complex plot orchestrated by Gabriel. Gabriel returns and pulls Sam and Dean into his mission for revenge against the demigods who previously sold him to Asmodeus. Concurrently, Jack experiences a period of inflating confidence. This growing overconfidence leads Jack to make reckless decisions that carry the potential to put other people in harm's way.

The television series Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke and originally broadcast on The WB before moving to The CW. The dark fantasy, horror, drama, and mystery series ran for fifteen seasons, beginning on September 13, 2005, and concluding on November 19, 2020. Throughout the series, the overarching premise follows Sam and Dean Winchester as they travel across America to hunt demons and other paranormal evils that linger in the dark corners and back roads, following a childhood shaped by the loss of their mother to a mysterious demonic force and the training instilled by their father to make them soldiers against the supernatural.
