In the television series Supernatural, brothers Sam and Dean Winchester hunt demons and supernatural forces as part of the family business. As boys, Sam and Dean lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force, after which their father raised them to be soldiers, teaching them how to kill the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America.

Created by Eric Kripke, the dark fantasy television series was first broadcast on The WB and later on The CW for fifteen seasons, running from September 13, 2005, to November 19, 2020. The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester.

In the episode titled All Along the Watchtower, Lucifer battles Sam, Dean, and Castiel for control of his unborn child.
