Synopsis
Amara unleashes a dark fog on a small town, causing everyone to go mad. Dean and Sam realize this is a stronger version of the original black vein virus Amara previously unleashed. They team up with the sheriff to protect the town but their old remedy no longer works. Meanwhile, Chuck returns with an interesting proposal.
Episode recap
In the twentieth episode of the eleventh season of Supernatural, titled Don't Call Me Shurley, Amara unleashes a dark fog upon a small town. This phenomenon causes the residents to descend into madness. Sam and Dean Winchester investigate the situation and determine that the fog is a more powerful iteration of the black vein virus that Amara had previously released.
As the brothers work to address the crisis, they collaborate with the local sheriff in an effort to protect the townspeople from the effects of the fog. During their investigation, they discover that the remedy they had utilized to combat the original virus is no longer effective against this stronger version. While Sam and Dean are occupied with the situation in the town, Chuck returns and presents them with a proposal.
