Sheriff Jody Mills finds herself matched with an overeager partner during a mandatory sheriff's retreat. During this time, a gruesome corpse is discovered. Following this gruesome discovery, Jody calls Sam and Dean to help investigate the situation. Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles respectively, are brothers who hunt demons, monsters, and other supernatural beings as part of the family business. When they were boys, the brothers lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force, after which their father raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America and how to kill it. The television series follows the brothers and is an American horror, drama, fantasy, and fiction series created by Eric Kripke. It was first broadcast on The WB and later on The CW, running for fifteen seasons from September 13, 2005, to November 19, 2020.
