In the episode Brother's Keeper from the dark fantasy television series Supernatural, brothers Sam and Dean Winchester face major turning points regarding the Mark of Cain. Dean makes a shocking decision regarding the Mark of Cain that would change not only his life, but Sam's too. Meanwhile, Crowley and Rowena face off, and Castiel gets caught in the middle.

The series Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke and broadcast on The WB and later The CW for fifteen seasons from September 13, 2005, to November 19, 2020. The dark fantasy, drama, mystery, and sci-fi and fantasy series follows brothers Sam, played by Jared Padalecki, and Dean Winchester, played by Jensen Ackles, as they hunt demons, save people, and hunt things in what is described as the family business.

When they were boys, Sam and Dean Winchester lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father raised them to be soldiers, teaching them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America, and how to kill it.
