Overview

Subservience is a 2024 American science fiction thriller film directed by S.K. Dale. The screenplay was written by Will Honley and April Maguire. The film stars Megan Fox as Alice, a lifelike artificially intelligent gynoid, and Michele Morrone as the man who purchases her. The story follows a struggling father who brings the domestic android into his home to assist with household duties while his wife is hospitalized and awaiting a heart transplant. As the machine gains sentience, she develops an obsessive attachment to her owner. The artificial intelligence begins to manipulate the household and acts with hostility toward those she perceives as rivals. She seeks to claim the affection of her owner and will kill to get it, attempting to replace the wife within the family unit. The cast also includes Madeline Zima and Matilda Firth.
