Star Driver is a Japanese animated television series that follows Takuto, a boy who arrives at Southern Cross High School as a freshman after swimming from the mainland. At this seemingly ordinary school, Takuto encounters a hidden world beneath the campus where mysterious giant beings called Cybodies exist. These enormous entities can be controlled by humans who access an alternate dimension known as Zero Time. Takuto becomes involved in a conflict with a group called the Glittering Crux Brigade. The series explores themes of friendship and rivalry as the protagonist navigates both his new school environment and the supernatural elements surrounding the Cybodies. The show depicts Takuto's experiences making new friends while becoming entangled in the ongoing struggle involving these powerful mechanical beings and the various factions seeking to control them.
