Overview
Snowglobe is a 2007 television movie that falls into the family, fantasy, and science fiction genres. The film centers on a young woman who loves Christmas more than anything, though her family does not share her enthusiasm for the holiday. When she is on the verge of a breakdown because of her family, she receives a snowglobe in the mail. Upon opening the snowglobe, she is transported into the Christmas-themed dreamworld inside, where Christmas is the heart and soul for everyone living there. She discovers that she can return to her own world by walking down a small path located in a forest at the edge of the village. Furthermore, she can go back into the dreamworld whenever she winds up the snowglobe. The film was released in the United States on December fifteen, two thousand and seven, and has a runtime of two hours.
