Synopsis
Mikail Mxyzptlk, a foreign exchange student and bookie, has the power to control others and uses it to sabotage football games, including the one Clark is quarterbacking. Clark and Chloe figure out his secret, but he threatens to kill Chloe unless Clark throws the next game. Mikail came to Smallville via LuthorCorp, and Lex will do almost anything to learn his secret.

Mikail Mxyzptlk is a foreign exchange student and bookie who possesses the power to control other people. He uses this ability to sabotage football games, including a game in which Clark is serving as quarterback. Clark and Chloe eventually figure out Mikail and his secret. Mikail then threatens to kill Chloe unless Clark throws the next football game. Mikail originally came to Smallville through LuthorCorp, and Lex is willing to do almost anything to learn Mikail's secret.
