In the television series Smallville, Clark runs up against super-strong robbers who are apparently tied to LexCorp. Meanwhile, Chloe begins to ally with Lionel, and Lana and Henry Small bond. The series, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, explores the origins of the world's greatest hero, Krypton refugee Kal-El, after a meteor shower impacts the small town of Smallville and changes the lives of many of its residents, including Lex, the son of the wealthy and ruthless Lionel Luthor.
