Overview
Slugterra is a Canadian animated television series created by Asaph Fipke that originally aired between 2012 and 2016. The production was handled by the Canadian animation studio Nerd Corps Entertainment, which later became part of DHX Media, now known as WildBrain. Eli travels to a secret, subterranean world known as Slugterra to follow in his father's footsteps. His primary goal is to become the greatest slugslinging hero of all. To achieve this, he collects and duels with transforming slug creatures. Throughout his journey, Eli works to defeat the villainous Dr. Blakk, who intends to turn the slugs into mindless weapons within the luminous underground world. The program is rated TV-Y7 and features numerous characters brought to life by its voice acting ensemble.
