Overview
Slayers Gorgeous is a 1998 animated film directed by Hiroshi Watanabe and written by Kanzaka. The story follows the characters Lina Inverse and her sidekick Naga the Serpent, who find themselves in the middle of a conflict involving a young woman named Marlene Culvert. While Lina and Naga are enjoying lunch, the town is suddenly invaded by Marlene and her legion of bloodthirsty dragons. This conflict stems from a feud between Marlene and her father, the king, regarding her allowance. Lina attempts to defend the village against Marlene, her tetrad knights, and the dragons, but she faces an unexpected challenge when her Dragon Slave spell fails. As the situation escalates, Naga decides to join Marlene, placing her and Lina on opposing sides of the battle. Lord Culvert, Marlene's estranged father, eventually hires Lina to help stop his daughter's raids.
