Overview

Skip Beat! is a 2008 television series centered on a young woman named Kyoko who moves to Tokyo to support the career aspirations of her childhood friend, Sho. Kyoko dedicates her life to Sho by working three jobs and managing his daily domestic needs, acting as his cook and cleaner while expecting nothing in return for her devotion. Her perspective shifts drastically after she visits Sho at his agency and inadvertently overhears him speaking with his manager.
