Overview
Sijjin 8 is a horror film released on June 6, 2025, in Turkey. The story follows Fatih, who lives with his family in his mother Gönül's house and cannot stand the pressure of his wife Berna. To escape the pressure, Fatih places his beloved mother in a nursing home. However, the silence that descends on the house after this decision is a harbinger of an approaching storm rather than peace, as the home falls out of their control and a dark force insidiously surrounds every corner. As the paranormal events become increasingly frightening and his guilty conscience weighs heavily on his shoulders, Fatih ultimately decides to bring his mother back from the nursing home. Upon attempting to do so, he discovers that it is no longer his mother who returns. The feature has a runtime of one hour and forty-four minutes.
