Shugo Chara! is a Japanese anime television series that premiered in 2007. The show centers on Amu Hinamori, an elementary school girl whose outwardly popular image, described by her classmates as "cool and spicy," masks her true introverted nature. After expressing a desire to be reborn as her ideal self, Amu discovers three colorful eggs that hatch into Guardian Characters named Ran, Miki, and Su.
