Overview

However, he is eventually compelled to use force when he is confronted by Arjun Sarkar, an extortionist with mafia links. The movie is an official remake of the Tamil superhit film Singam, which originally starred Surya and Anushka Shetty. The original film Singam was written by Tamil director Hari, who is known for his movies with rural settings. Shatru falls under the genres of action, drama, and thriller, and it presents the narrative conflict between the peaceful, logic-driven sub-inspector and the mafia-linked extortionist who forces him to abandon his peaceful methods in favor of direct physical confrontation and force.
