Sham Ghansham is a 1998 Indian action and drama film directed by Ashok Ghai. The film features a cast that includes Rakhee Gulzar, Chandrachur Singh, Arbaaz Khan, and Priya Gill. The story follows Satyadev Singh, who resides in a region with his wife, Ganga, and their two sons, Sham and Ghansham. The family initially enjoys a comfortable life until the arrival of a new, corrupt Collector named Bhim Singh. This change in leadership leads to the death of Satyadev Singh. Following this tragedy, Ganga is forced to flee the region with her children to escape Bhim Singh. Years later, the narrative focuses on the grown sons, Sham and Ghansham, as they pursue a quest to avenge their father's death. Their journey brings them into direct conflict with Collector Bhim Singh and his men, who are prepared to repeat their past actions by targeting the sons of Satyadev Singh. The film has a runtime of two hours and forty minutes and was released in India on January 1, 1998.
