Overview
Saving Flora is a 2019 adventure, drama, and family film with a runtime of one hour and thirty-five minutes. The story centers on Flora, a circus elephant who is unable to perform her tricks anymore. The night prior to her scheduled euthanasia, the fourteen-year-old daughter of the circus owner, named Dawn, decides to sneak Flora away from the circus. Their ultimate goal is to reach the safety of an elephant preserve. However, standing in their way are two hundred kilometers of woods, one raging river, two elephant hunters, and the fear of failing to make the journey. The film was released in the United States on October 22, 2018, and is classified as not rated.
