Source [1]: Title: Sara (2026). Release date: 12/10/2026 (ID). Genre: Drama. Runtime: 1h 39m. Synopsis: Sara, a transgender woman goes back to her remote hometown to attend her father’s funeral. She finds the village has changed greatly, and that the villagers have become extremely religious. Added to that, her mother suffers from dementia and treats her like a complete stranger.
Source [2]: Mentions "Sara (2026) - Cast & Crew" but the text describes a different plot about a father and son burying a dog. This appears to be a mismatch or error in the source provided, but I must be careful. Wait, the text says "While burying their beloved dog...". This doesn't seem to describe the film "Sara" from the synopsis. I will stick to the synopsis in Source [1] for the plot.
Source [3]: Discusses "Kraken (2026 film)". Irrelevant to "Sara".
Source [4]: Mentions "Sara (2026) Full Cast
